LABOR DAY WEEKEND + BILLIE
Photos by: Bearded Bousman Photo Co.
I hope you had a fun Labor Day weekend! Jordan's family was in town, so we got to spend a lot of time with them! We went to Elitch Gardens which is the main theme park here, in Denver. Jordan's dad worked there when he was a kid and two of his sisters have worked there in the past too, so it was really cool to hear their perspectives on what all had changed throughout the years! We got funnel cakes, rode on little kid rides with his niece and nephew, and ended the night at the house with pizza and games! We love to play games, so if you know of any fun ones let us know because we're always on the lookout for new ones! We also got to take his sister's senior photos which was really fun!! I can't wait to see how they turned out!
These photos are from the other day when we went up to the Flatirons near Boulder and I played dress up in this beautiful fall dress from Billie. If you're ever in Colorado and shopping on Tennyson Street, you have to stop in this shop, it's one of my favorites!! I love the color and small floral prints on this dress. It's so pretty for Fall to wear with some boots as we move into colder weather! My mom always loved the look of a big maxi skirt that flows like his one, and her tall boots peeking out underneath! I love how trends rotate back around like that!
Speaking of my mama, there are only a few short days left until we take off for Italy!! I'm getting so pumped, but also stressing a little because my suitcase is half empty. I really really need to pack! My awesome roommate is lending me her outlet adapter that she took to Europe with her just a few weeks ago. It's really cool because it works in Europe, Australia, and the U.S. and it's so compact! I am excited to use it! I think I'm most excited for a day trip my mom and I are taking to Tuscany and another to Cinque Terra!
I feel like I've been busting at the seams with photoshoots for the blog lately, I feel like I don't even have the time to show you all the photography goodness! But I will! They'll all be up on the blog in a new post each week.
Two major things on the wedding planning to-do list are to ask my bridesmaids!! Poor girls! I've waited so long, they might think I'm not even asking them anymore! lol And the other thing is Save the Dates! My Aunt Heather and Jordan and I have been perfecting them and I think we are almost done! The design is great, we Just have to add some important info to them! I still have time, but I can't keep saying that for much longer! March 2018 is quickly approaching.
*Thank you Billie for sponsoring this post!
I hope you all have an awesome rest of your week! Thanks for stopping by!
